GAMSAT S3 Crash Course
Learn how and when to use specific skills with GAMSAT-style questions!
GAMSAT Science Fundamentals - approx. 5hr
You would be surprised how little you need to know for many GAMSAT-style questions. However, there are some things you should know!
This covers some of the KEY assumed knowledge required for the GAMSAT, with the focus mainly on Physics and General Chemistry. We touch only briefly on Organic Chemistry and Biology due to time-constraints.
GAMSAT Numerical Reasoning - approx. 5hr
Numbers can be scary, but it shouldn't be!
The aim is to demonstrate and teach the math necessary for the GAMSAT. Students are shown the importance of being able to manipulate equations, indices, logarithms, fractions, ratios, and understanding proportionality and exponential behavior.
GAMSAT Graphs and Tables - approx. 5hr
So much data, so little time!
The aim is to familiarise students with the various types of graphs, as well as the common things that we may be asked to interpret from them. Examples of GAMSAT-style questions with graphs and tables are used to demonstrate how students can extract the relevant information to be able to answer confidently, and also how not to fall for common traps.
GAMSAT Pattern Recognition & Verbal Reasoning - approx. 5hr
